Greg Bullington

Principal & Founder

With a broad-based background, Greg has deep industry experience in the high-tech (hardware and software), IP licensing, web services, mobile advertising, biotech, medical device, healthcare technology, financial services, insurance, sustainable materials and non-profit sectors. He has worked extensively with senior executive teams at over 50 companies ranging from Fortune 100 corporations to venture-backed ($40mm to $65mm in funding) and early stage startups (seed to $5mm in funding).

Over the past 5 years, Greg has supported the structuring, development, commercial launch and growth of over 30 technology companies as a consultant, advisor and investor.  Greg has significant experience in developing business plans focused on utilization of quantitative measures to identify and prioritize market opportunities, product development requirements, competitive positioning and business development/partnership opportunities.

Joining many client organizations effectively as a member of the executive team, Greg has developed and executed against a wide array of business development strategies. The primary focus of these efforts has centered on catalyzing growth by creating product and distribution partnerships with companies that develop complementary technologies and own end customer relationships.

Greg began his career in professional services with the Audit and Assurance practice of Deloitte & Touche LLP.  He continued his professional development as a management consultant with Lake Partners, a Seattle-based strategy consulting firm, prior to founding Forum Ventures in early 2006.

In addition to his professional pursuits, Greg is co-founder and proprietor of Forum Cellars, a boutique Washington-based winery that produces Rhone-style red wines. He is also the President & Chairman of the Kyle Charvat Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides funding to young adults that are battling brain cancer.  He is an active “wish granting” volunteer with the Make-A-Wish Foundation and enjoys flying small planes, mountain climbing, skiing, and international travel.

Greg received his BA in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and International Business from the University of Washington.
